Description
From the brand Kukulcán, this side table has Mayan engravings on one of it’s branched legs. This brand’s master artisan is known in his community as not only a wood craftsman, but a painter and artist.
The winding branches of the Cedro tree serve as the legs for the cross-section of a Cataloch trunk.
This table is made from Spanish cedar, or Cedro as the community refers to it, which is known for its aromatic resin which contains rot- and termite-resistant properties. The second wood used is Mexican ebony, known as Cataloch to the community, which has a much darker hue and is known for it’s strength and rot-resistance.
